Sometimes the twins are a little too quiet. #childrenofjoy
We put up a little fence to keep Doctor Horatio Biscuit out of the bug cemetery, and we added sand to a big part of the enclosure. I wrote the place name in chalk on the fence: St. Modestos’ Cemetery for Lonely Bugs. Sheepy came out and read it and yelled, “I love it!” Her big love for bugs inspired the bug cemetery, and I think she’s going to love adding flowers again now that the dog can’t dig them up. #childrenofjoy #kinardgarden
Me: I put on makeup for a meeting! Let me take a selfie.
Sale extended! Enter code LENT2021 at checkout on ParkEndBooks.com to receive 20% off all titles. We heard from our customers that lots of people only discovered Letters for Pilgrimage after hearing @alexandraofyoe on Everyday Orthodox with @elissabjeletich, so we’re extending the sale. #orthodoxchristian #lent2021 #bookstagram
I’ve never seen these wildflowers bloom in a cup, but these bloomed all day. Glory to God! Seeing them was like a prayer.
Today marks 8 years since we lost our baby to miscarriage. I wrote a prayerful reflection from my heart. I hope it helps someone else to navigate the grief of this kind of loss.
Sometimes I pop into my husband’s office to get something from the mini fridge, and I have to catch my breath. The works in progress are lovely in the scriptorium.
I’m so happy that I got to help bring this book into the world!
Happy Birthday to our wonderful youngest. For the next few weeks till her twin brothers’ birthday, we have three 6 year olds in the family! We love this bright, kind, thoughtful, strong girl so much. She loves all of her presents and is off playing with them now. I’m glad the grandmothers were able to join us by video, too! #childrenofjoy
